Coaches & BioFounder Jeremy Buerge (pic to the left) has many Years of practical experience in self defense. As a 2nd degree Ju Jutsu black belt and a 11 Year veteran of the British Columbia Volunteer Fire Industry, he is well equipped to teach this very complex and specific Martial Art style. Jeremy’s previous Years of experience as a Youth Mentor/ Fire Training Officer, combined with his calm and mellow attitude, offers a great asset to our school. His encouragement of others, and dedication to this Art is a large contributor to the success of our students. Founder Detlef Joe Friede (pic to the right) is a certified Master & Clinical Hypnotherapist and gifted healer with stunning and thrilling experiences about spiritual pathways and healing, and also a Youth mentor for Family Resource Association (FRA).
On professional level, Detlef is BST/ AST certified through BC Justice Institute and holds a 2nd degree black belt in (Ju Jutsu) including 25 successful Years as a coach and competitive fighter. Back in the German days, he was the youngest referee for full contact Ju Jutsu competitions on Police and Army level and also called countless times to sit on National black belt certification councils. He is an experienced business man/ professional musician and first responding BC Fire Fighter. He served 15 Years on senior management level for the German Health Government before his immigration to Canada in 1997. |
